Lucas Gumbiner, of Gumbiner Custom Knives. Been making knives since 2017. Originally focusing on Japanese style kitchen knives using traditional techniques and the best materials available. But in recent years, high-end precision folding knives have taken over and become my newest passion.

Pedro Gonzalez, of Septem Knives started knife making and blade smithing as a hobby in 2018. What started out as a hobby, turned into a big passion of his and a full time job. Gettin inspired by watching YouTube videos sparked the interest in building his own 2×72 grinder. After that, things took off. From building larger and more intricate blades to custom high end leather sheaths for his blades. Pedro Gonzalez has earned a name for himself among many high end custom blade smiths and collectors.

Tyler Hackbarth

Tyler Hackbarth, of Wolf River Forge is an American patriot and vet out of Wisconsin who has found his passion in bladesmithing. Tyler has made a name for himself by competing and winning the show Forged in Fire twice, one being the episode series, Battle of The Branches. Tyler specializes in hand forged Damascus and high carbon steel blades. Tyler is well known amongst the knifemaking and bladesmithing communities for his refined finish and use of top quality and exotic materials. Exclusively uses Kiran’s Koa handle material for his blades.

Jesse Hu, of Jhublades. 20 year old Bladesmith specializing in high-end kitchen cutlery. He is transitioning into complicated Damascus as the basis for all his blades. Recently has been experimenting with mosaic Damascus creations.

Tanner Dannish, owner and bladesmith of Frontiersmen Gear, an outdoor gear company making completely custom products. He strives to make knives that are truly functional art. He is in the never ending and relentless pursuit of only the best materials to build heirloom quality pieces that can be passed down for generations to come.

Sam Goldbroch

Sam Goldbroch, of Sam Goldbroch Sharp Co. is a former chef and culinary instructor. He now makes culinary knives out of his shop just north of Chicago. Exotic and interesting handle materials combined with his passion for kitchen knives got him into handle making which, in turn, led him into full time knife making. Sam is well known amongst his local community providing some well renowned chefs with high quality cutlery.

Cody Adolphson, of Little Wolf Ironworks is a welder turned bladesmith. Cody specializes in hand forged Damascus and high carbon steel blades. Venturing from hunting knives, carry knives and chef knives. Cody uses some of the best quality and exotic materials on the market. Exclusively uses Kiran’s Koa handle material for his blades.

Robert Erickson

Robert Erickson, if Erickson Knife Works has been a part time maker since 2014. He starting making knives after buying several knives and that sparking the interest. He specializes in the metallurgy and design, striving to use the best steel, handle material and proper treatment of both. He mainly makes kitchen knives and hunting knives, but occasionally ventures into a few other styles as well.
